GM Backup Cameras

On my 2015 GMC the tailgate camera plugs into a terminal block to the drivers side of the license plate under the rear bumper. Not the easiest thing to access but doable. When removing the tailgate you unplug the cord first, when installing the tailgate you plug in the cord last. The camper works the same way, load the camper and then plug in the wire to the camera. I wire managed the small 1/4" split loom wires alongside other wires from the camper's tail lights, then using small plastic wire loops I backed out existing screws under the camper to get the wire close to the truck's bumper. No different or harder than unplugging the camper's main electrical connection, you just want to add it to your "things to check" list so you don't forget to unplug it when unloading.
