Trailer was less than half the rated tow capacity of the truck - trailer was weighed by the GM investigator. If the trailer was heavier, maybe even just 3/4 the tow capacity, I would jump all over the tongue weight, weight distribution, cargo in bed, etc.
If other people are having similar issues... then there might be, well, an issue.
I would like to get a more detailed photograph or description of the "bump".
