GM pickup tailgate opening too narrow
I read a couple of years ago that GM had narrowed the tailgate opening on their pickup boxes. I recently found out (via a hard lesson) that this is indeed the case. The tailgate opening on a 2017 Chev is too narrow by 1-1/4" for my 2008 Eagle Cap to fit.
Is there anybody on the forum who knows which years are affected by this change and whether or not Ford and Ram did the same thing?
