The 1/2 ton electric and Nikola truck drivetrain are somewhere in this bunch. Looks like they are getting serious. I’ll guess at mid 2022 for production of the half ton. Which isn’t that far away.

So you are considering the GMC Hummer a 3/4 or one ton? Will be unveiled on 10/20/2020 and built in 2021!
I actually thought the Hummer was more halfway between a 1/2 ton and 3/4 ton. But trucks have changed a lot in the last twenty years and weight class has shifted a bit.
Wow. Even if they build in the end of 2021 that’s only a year away. I think the badger will be more towards 2022. The badger doesn’t appeal to me. The Hummer does as I like iconic looking vehicles. Wife is set on a cybertruck. I’m not going to win that one. :)
It would be cool if GM could strike a deal with a major charge network like EVGO or charge point and put some serious money into a comprehensive North American charge program. Ford has done this to a very limited degree with Greenlots. Unfortunately it is mostly just on the billing side and not the actual infrastructure side. Volkswagen is all in on the Electrify America and Electrify Canada networks. Our little town has one of these coming.
Tesla is installing 9 non Tesla DC fast charging stations at its new 56 station Supercharger in Firebaugh California. Sign of things to come?
