New as in 2018 ? Expedition was all new for 2018. Aluminum body, new engine and 10 speed transmission, both out of the F150.
The big thing with the Expedition is
make sure is comes with the heavy duty trailer tow package. For 2018 this included a built in trailer brake controller.
