this is not news because the parts that are actually covered by the warranty rarely ever break. It's all the parts that aren't covered by the warranty that nickel and dime owners.
covering a block, crank, pistons and rods and a transmission housing is technically a powertrain; not covering, sensors, electrical, hoses, fittings and everything else that commonly goes wrong is just false advertisement.
