The fact is recall do not equal poor quality in any measurable metric. It may be your opinion but the metrics and market feedback don't support that connection.
GM had RECORD SETTING recalls is my point. All manufacturers have recalls. How is vehicle quality measured? It is all OPINION. I have mine, you have yours, everyone has theirs. My opinion is that GM quality has not drastically improved recently as you claim.
The warranty issue is a non-starter for me. I would never exceed 60K miles in 5 years with the manner in which I drive.
