What difference does it make what side its located on? If you operate the vehicle you need to be aware of its location, its limitations, how to set it and use it!
My 2012 Silverado 2500 HD has the built in sway control. I have never had it deployed or seen it in action because I drive responsibly! And I tow with in my specifications for the vehicle.
yeah, my TBC is on the left side,, my last truck I had it mounted on the right.
Didn't make a hill of beans difference where its located!
Never have I searched around looking for it!
When I bought the 2500 I set the brake control to the trailer and experimented with the setting until I got it to what was good for me!
Now I hook up my trailer, do a pull test, brake test, light check and a complete walk around.
I make sure the setting is where it was last time I pulled the trailer and leave it alone! You shouldn't be fiddling with it all the time!
Set It and Forget it!
Now lets move on to a "What are the Best Tires" thread!
