Critical thinking or not it's pure opinion regardless. My pure opinion is where its located upper left in my 15 GMC is better than lower right in the 13 Silverado I had. Frankly both worked fine and I had never given it much thought.
The radio volume control is on the back side of the right steering wheel spoke on the GMC but on the front left of the steeering wheel spoke of our 18 Kia Soul, and between those two and our Honda CRV, I think you have to pull or push for high beams differently on all 3. Spraying the windshield washer takes some advance planning or you might find you changed the radio station. I haven't lost any sleep over it, and felt no need to write up a dissertation for some online rag like pickuptrucks.com. But Mr Levine makes a living by publishing his opinion. To me it means about as much as taking every new truck up and down some 6% hill in Colorado and spewing dribble till the end of time.
The only thing I have a small issue with is after driving the Kia Soul daily for a few weeks when I get in the 15 GMC 2500 longbed I have to sort of learn to drive again.
The online RV forum. Over complicating the uncomplicated since 1852.
Right on, Ralph.
