If you look at some of these... A lot of them wouldn't have recalls issued if not for the lawsuits and bad press over the ignition switch issue.
Plus the numbers are inflated... The latest recall is for vehicles going back to the mid 1990's. You can guarantee the media is using the number of cars MANUFACTURED, not the number still on the road!!!
How many 1990's cars are still on the road, really? A mere fraction of what was manufactured. You can pretty much guarantee that anything manufactured in the 1990's that spent most of its life up here in the Northeast is either in the junkyard or soon headed there.
