Sorry you are having issues with your 03 truck. Sounds like you are on your way to getting that vibration taken care of. The stepper motors on the instrument panel have been updated many times (current version is best yet) and there are numerous videos on how to perform repair and also many places to send for repair if you don't want to do it. One of my daughters was driving an 84 Pontiac Fiero for awhile and it had intermittent problems. I decided it was a bad vacuum line somewhere, but replaced the car before I took the time to replace all the vacuum lines.
