I think everything has been pretty well covered, and I owned an '03 duramax and replaced the rear cab mounts, and addressed a couple of the common problems. Overall I really liked the truck. I did have the instrument problem also, but did not have to repair, or replace it. One of the batteries was just beginning to go bad and when I replaced the pair, no more problems. (It was starting fine, but I thought the cranking speed was ever so slightly slow so I had it checked.) I was aware that there was a tsb out to reprogram the "wake up voltage" for the instruments so I tried new batteries first, as they were old, and that solved the instrument problem. Hope that helps. Good luck.
