GM TV recall

I thought all the government nonessential employees were furloughed?

How can GM still be making trucks during the furlough? :B

If it was ford they would just look the other way !! ha ha just kidding.

Read a lot of complaints about this. Supposedly, there is a large gap between the seat back and the occupant.

The problem is that the needed push to close the gap isn't there. They are negotiating with Ford to provide an engine and better axle gearing, that will push the occupant back into the seat and correct the issue.

I think I read the only problem with the 2014 seat is they cannot fill them.

Yeah, It's just fun. One of the guys we camp with has a Chevy diesel, He picks on my real truck, and I pick on his "Isuzu". Been going on since GM started building cars.

Ironic that I missed the Ram Recall notice on this Forum:

Not counting the 132,000 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs after reports of reports of random warning-light illumination and instrument-cluster blackout, which the report says is due to the anti-lock brake electronics "infrequently" affecting the cluster display since nobody would tow with a GC.

Good for GM fixing a problem when it comes up. Somebody's gonna get a free fix.
