Installed the TruCool today. I am curious if anyone that has experience with this unit, and has installed it on a GM SUV or truck, did your outside temp gauge still work after install?
The reason I ask is that mine doesn't. And from looking, the sensor is right in front of the radiator, looks like it may now be blocked by the TruCool. And if it isn't blocked, it sure is a lot closer to it than it was to the OEM cooler.
Cheap part to install, and it doesn't look like it would be a terrible installation, just want to know others experience before I go chasing down a rabbit hole if it is a lost cause.
