We are quite familiar with that stretch of road, hiwy 168 has a b-t-h of a climb on the 4-lane section. On several occasions we towed a 5K 5vr with 90 5.7 Chev 1500, 4-sp, 3.73 rear. Also with 02 5.3 Chev 1500, 4-sp, 3.73.
Weight wise, you should be okay. Keep rmp up and gear down, both directions.
We even towed large Jayco tent trailer with 75 Ford Courier. Low gear, speed around 25 mph. No problem.
