I have the exact same setup as wmoses, same truck and trailer, P3, and 12,000/1,200 (except mine is Reese Dual Cam).
We just spent three weeks in Tennessee and towed throughout the Smoky Mountains with no problem. The truck actually performed better on the inclines than I expected.
