The 5.3/5.42/6spd combo works just fine. Better than the 4.10 gears I had in my '05. Way better, in fact.
Sounds like a decent pairing to me. Yeah, you won't win any races, and the engine will rev when climbing, but that is what it is made to do.

Yeah, they really pull ... freeway mileage isn't the greatest, though!
