wasn't trying to convince him, just wanted the OP to know that his short distance commute likely wouldn't be the issue he thought it would be.
The newer models with the 6 speed do seem to make nice tow rigs, much better than the 6.0 with the 4 speed.
And it does give you another 600ish lbs of payload over the diesel if you order it with the 10,000lb GVWR package.
