I will be going seasonal this summer at a local campground.. plan right now is to visit every weekend or every other weekend. im on a metered site. Is it best to leave the fridge on electric all week ...

The time delay mainly protects the AC and can be set for a shorter 15 seconds if the AC is equipped with its own delay…

The one I have is very similar, but only has a 2+min time delay and the company that built it is no longer in business… I am considering replacing mine with the Progressive Industries PT30C 30 Amp Portable…
I guess there is always a theft issue but mine is in a metal box with a place to put a lock and chain (I have never chained mine), and the Progressive one has a metal locking loop on the cord… (not much for securing it)… never experienced a weather related problem with mine…
