Hi Joe,
I can already run it successfully from the battery bank--so it is a case of having enough watts of solar to keep the batteries from going flat dead.
I did some measurements this summer and found that 1400 to 1900 watts are needed. If I upgrade to 1500 watts, I should in theory, be able to run from sun power.
