Worthwhile videos. They did gloss over the fact that Ford says any diesel engine OLD OR NEW, and not just late model 6.7 engines.
Also note that the 6.7 has a roller tappet cam, not flat tappets that the old wear test considered. My opinion is that the removal of the most apparent point of wear from the test was just a slight of hand to mask the real problem. However the flat tappet test is still valid in comparing oils for their ability to prevent wear and should be used.
