Good Frig service from Green Star RV at Rapid City

I was being pessimistic earlier about RV repair service someone else received and wanted to let all know about the good service I receive from Green Star RV in Rapid City, SD.

Frig started giving problems the 3rd day out on our last trip. The Norcold was giving the "no co" code. Campground host said check with Green Star.

Saturday morning, with no frig techs available, the service manager grabbed the manual and jumped on the problem. He did the Norcold hard reset, gave me the instructions on how to do it myself, and gave me a piece of wire to reset it if it happened again before I got back home. Happened 3 times. Wife was unhappy.

I understand how the frig works but had never had that particular error code and I didn't know Norcold had slipped in a hard reset without giving the owner info on how to perform the reset. It's an unforgiving safety device.

In addition, they charged me a reasonable amount even after I lit the service manager up by turning it on when his hand was too close the igniter coil. He told me to turn it on!!

Got home replaced the external cooling fan ($9.00).

Thanks Green Star.
