Tire prices for "good" tires are getting pretty silly. Has bought new/used off CRaigslist for years now, but just got a set of 275-65-20 Firechicken Deatination MTs for $760 shipped to my door. Another $100 for mount balance and $56 for unlimited siping. (They sipe em half way the first time and redo the bottom half of the tread again later for free.)
Under a grand All in for some super heavy tall lug siped tires.
Amazon was my friend!
I'd recommend checking Amazon or Fleabay for what you want and get a quote from your local tire shop for install if you don't get in on special deals like posted above.
I got out for less than my last used set of Toyo mudders for some very good rated tires.
