After last week's blowout, I'm shopping for new tires for my TT. After reading a lot of posts here and researching online, I've narrowed it down to Goodyear Marathon Radials or Maxxis M8008 ST Radial...

I have had Marathon tires on three Travel Trailers. I experienced loss of rubber in chunks on two trailers, and in one case delamination of tread that cost $8,000.00 in repairs. One Marathon tossed the tread at 560 miles while running 55 MPH. This was before I became educated on tires through reading this site.
On two trailers I have used Maxxis and have had no problem. Also, I check the air pressure before and during each trip and check the tire and wheel temp each stop.
Based on my history I would not recommend Marathon's to anyone.
