Reading some of the posts, I think I was getting a bit paranoid. ????
Perhaps - no one can guarantee one way or the other how long your tires will last. The Chinese manufactured tires that came stock on my Coachmen lasted 4 years, were always maintained at the correct pressure, were rated far beyond the requirements of our trailer which only weighs ~ 4800 lbs fully loaded, and showed no signs of impending failure, yet I came home from a trip last fall only to find one of the tires had split open for no apparent reason (meaning no nail, screw, etc). When we pulled it off the rim we found a big oval bubble where the interior plies had separated from the others ... needless to say I replaced all of them, this time with Goodyear Endurance.
While at my dealer I noticed the remains of this Chinese manufactured tire which came off a new trailer sold just 6 months earlier, meaning the tire wasn't any more than a year old and according to the owner the trailer hadn't been towed more than a few hundred kms. Scary - you bet. :E Unusual? - probably ... but an irrelevant argument if it happens to you. :W
