So my Outback is brand new. It’s a 250urs. Dry weight, 5200#. I noticed that it has the Trailer King tires. We normally camp within an hour from our house. Once in a while we go to Branson, Mo, 110miles away. After taxes and license, wd hitch and essentials for the new trailer, 8 simply can not afford to go out buying new tires right away. How many miles are we talking about on the China Bomb tires? Can 8 get a season out of them?
With the type of camping you do I would keep your Trailer Kings and keep a close watch on them. It seems the biggest complaint on the TK's is sidewall distortion and bulging. Mine did. I had about 3000 miles on them with the longest period on the road about 6 hrs. and speeds at 65mph. One gas stop I noticed one tire bulging so I slowed down and was cautious on the rest of the way home.
If you are planning on day long pulls I would replace them. I put the Endurance on mine before heading to FL and am so far very happy with them. The stiffer sidewall made the trailer more stable. I did keep 2 of the replaced TK's for spares and gave 2 to a neighbor for his boat trailer.
