I am pleased so far with Endurance, after a year of towing. The fact that they have a higher speed rating is significant, even though I do not tow above 62 mph. It tells me that the manufacturer is confident in the quality of the design and the materials.
They must have done tests before stamping the tires with the higher speed rating. Otherwise, they would be risking costly lawsuits for mislabeling -- "the tire said 75 mph and that is what I was going and there was a blowout and an accident." There will always be litigation, of course, but if (as I suspect) they have in-house data to back up the labeling, the size and frequency of verdicts for the plaintiffs will be reduced. (If I sound like I know something about product defect litigation, you are right.)
But it is still too soon to say that these tires are significantly better than any others.
