I've had a gooseneck on for 4 years and the skid plate became wavy as it was not thick enough to handle the front to rear leverage. This year I replaced the original hitch with a Mor Ryde with the optional gooseneck skid plate. I have noticed a big improvement in the ride as almost all for and aft chucking was eliminated. I see no problem with the frame.
