The yearly inspection is just that, an inspection where they will outline the many maintenance services your TT will require, which of course will be out of pocket. It is similar to when you go to Firestone or whatever garage for their discounted oil and lube service that includes a 60 point inspection, and inform you that your vehicle requires all these services or your car may just fall apart at any second. Please don't fall for this well known gimmick which is used throughout the many industries that service any type of machinery. Good luck on your final choice, here's hoping you get many year of fun out of it. Also, pass on any extended warranties the dealer tries to sell you, if you are just a bit handy with tools, a TT is not overly difficult to work on.
