This head ducking is interesting. Because my pickup is quite high, the camper is nearly 40 inches off the ground. I found a nice flat tread ladder that I use to ingress and egress. It is more like going through a hatch than it is through a doorway. I don't "duck" much at all and I'm 6'2" tall. I would have thought I'd be bashing my head every time I went near it. But so far....no issues.
