I don't think it will work well at all at floor level. Cold air falls, and hot air rises. You need to "dump" cold air into the camper. I installed a awning on the rear of my camper that now covers the AC unit. This dropped the temperature in the camper on a 90 degree day by 8 degrees. How its really cold in the camper if I leave it on MAX.
