Got My Tiny Window AC unit installed...Nice!

I tried experimenting with a small window unit 5000btu mounted in the wheel well access opening of my Alaskan pop-up. It did not work very well, the cold air accumulated along the floor where it was about 45 degrees. Up at eye level the temp remained about 80 or more. The internal thermostat in the unit would cycle off the compressor before the temp up top ever got cool enough to be of any value. I would think some sort of external wall mounted thermostat might help prevent this if possible to attach one to a window unit. However I finally gave up and decided to install a fantastic fan vent.
