This camper has to fit in my garage so the unit had to be installed at floor level. I will try opening the door to see if the unit still runs. Right now I think the compressor is cutting out because of the thermal cut off switch. I do have a Fantastic fan that keeps the camper at a cool 100 degrees in Arizona unless it is 115 outside then the camper is 115 degrees.
