Interesting - I've seen just the opposite here in SoCal when looking for my numerous Chevy trucks - we've rarely found a Sivlerado or Suburban that wasn't 4x4. I wonder if there's a related factor, such as option packages that I was looking for, which were more likely to be found with 4x4...
Might have been option related, or vehicle related. We were specifically looking at 1/2 ton SUVs. Lots of 2WD, and the only couple 4WD I saw other than ours were limiteds and had the rediculous 20" wheels and rubber band tires.... on a 4WD ....:R Of course this IS SoCal :B
