We're in the market for a new TT to replace our current 17 footer. The current camper is fine except for two things...there is no place to sit except for the dinette, and it's tight squeezing by each other by the kitchen sink. We really prefer smaller trailers, but want something slightly bigger than what we have.
I've never owned GD so I can't help directly with your questions but with a GVWR of 6700 lbs and length of 26' 9" I sure wouldn't refer to this
Grand Design 2150 as a "smaller trailer". :h This GD is exactly the same length as my previous triple bunk bed K-Z Spree 240BH-LX but significantly heavier and although I never had any issues towing it with our 1/2 ton Silverado nor ever ran into any sites I couldn't place it on I nevertheless became convinced the total length of any trailer I'd ever want to own in the future would be no greater than 25'. I guess it's a matter of perspective but as one who now owns a 19' couple's trailer that measures 22' 6" coupler to bumper this 2150 strikes me as
far more than just "slightly bigger" than a 17 footer. :E
