I teflon taped a scenario.....still leaked but lessor. Next test used silicone caulk..does not touch the actual interior of the gravity fed inlet tube or glassed camper exterior. i ran a bead on the inner tab, twisted it, compressed the two connecter tabs, and than ran a bead around the exterior. This fitting should have an o-ring or gasket to function better (compress and not leak by design).
Imagine a strict boondocker losing 3/4 of the water schloshing out down the road and slowly destroying the camper.
i'll test for an over flow leak in the morning, and deal with complete rip out/install new gravity fed inlet exterior mount ($17 to $20) in warmer May. Camper is approaching 6 years old about due for a complete reseal to be done by dealer.
