Great OX5 article-TC Magazine by D Gorton

What a splendid article about OX5 that D. Gorton wrote for TCM. His writing ability and photojournalism of this event was extraordinary. TCM needs him on more assignments for them. I just wish that I could have been there to see it myself. Hopefully next year I'll make OX6.

Wonderful reporting and photos of an event we have yet to attend, but by golly will next year due to the coverage by D Gordon. Thanks for allowing us a peek into the goings on of a tribe of like-minded folks. I sure didn't mind clicking the link.

Great write-up, and intro to TCM for me as well. I follow Expedition Portal and had heard about this from there. Sounds and looks like a great event to get to! Once I get more comfortable with my rig, I may try and get out there in the next year or three.

A great article. TCM really benefits when others write for the magazine. I really enjoyed this article and the one Bryan wrote. Was there for OX4, but missed this one. Will be there for the OX6.

Just seen it - great article. Really shows expo in the best light. Those truck campers were tightly packed this year. Pity we couldn't make it.

TCM needs you D, what a super article!! I'd say that even OX needs you, you're a needed man! Hey, we need you too so don't go far ok? It is an excellent write-up with excellent pictures to go with. Your experience is on show and I enjoyed it very much.

For those of us who had no idea what OX5 was, this OP's post has links to the rally for Overland Expo which also includes truck campers.

I would also like to commend D (67Avion) for what has to be the best article to grace the screen on TCM so far. His writing and photojournalism is surely testament to his long and distinguished career, and I really enjoyed the comprehensive look at OX. I've been there twice and my focus was on the TC community each time, but in the future I will spend more time seeing the "forest" for the trees.

D - Great job. Maybe Gordon and Angela should send you out on assignment more often.
