Update:
I stopped at the dealer today to see what's up with the TT. Service manager discovered only today (after I stopped and asked) that the parts came in from Shasta to repair the dump valves the way the factory had originally intended them to be installed. These parts came in 8 days ago !!!!!!! To say the least now I'am upset with the dealer. That's unacceptable in my way of doing business. Shasta shipped them in a timely manner and sent the schematic (which I saw) on how the factory installation should be.
I was told that Shasta has to adjust the one year warrenty for us so I called Shasta and they deferred me back to the dealer. I thought WHAT ?!?!?!?!?
This is a classic 2 wrongs don't make a right. I'am getting lots of apologizing now from the dealer, I think cause they screwed up. I wonder how long they would have sat on the parts until they repaired our TT.
I reminded them that we paid cash for this TT and we've even got our state registration and the title but no camper.
As for the other TT the dealer had with the same problem. I asked where it was since it was not on the lot anymore. I was told that was a rental for their other location and the service manager admitted he made a "temporary" fix on the unit. Again WHAT!?!?!?!?!?? So I said your making money on that unit and renting this holiday weekend and I have no camper....
Ok somebody tell me I'am being unreasonable,
Sorry for venting and thanks for reading.
Happy Independence Day to everyone,
