The owner of this park was suppose to come down yesterday but never came so we bought a long copper tube, and pounded it into the ground. And wrapped a copper coil around the bumper area where the spare tire sat. We tested the area, and discovered it only tingled. But...if you touch rubber, you get a zing. When the area Is dry it's normal when wet different you get zapped. We checked the connection from our side, and its all good, but his box where our connection is pulled into seems to be where the problem exists. We cant find another place to just pull out and go. We are aware there was a fire in the space where we are, about a year ago, and management said they cleaned up the area. The coach next to us, their box was burned. We were able to find out they have PG&E but didn't use their services for their connection boxes for RV's, why I don't know. Someone who is not connected to PG&E or a licensed contractor apparently put these boxes in. Stupid, stupid, stupid I know. We will be contacting the owner again tomorrow. We are looking for another spot to go to. This area on the Central Coast of CA is very difficult to locate another place to park. When we do have to leave, everything is unplugged completely. With work etc, it is very hard to find even a temp spot for 6 months. I will keep you posted, and I hope the owner of Resthaven will resolve the issue.
