A young boy was just electrocuted not too long ago because of this very same open ground condition at a schools athletic field. Seems a nearby light was ungrounded and the boy touched aluminum bleachers at the same time..... made the ground and killed him. You are correct in unplugging and leaving, but my question is why is the owner not concerned? You shouldn't have to pay an electrician to fix HIS safety hazard.
