I had a state certified Electrician come out today, and he said the box that we are connected to was alright, he then came into the trailer and tested the breakers and the fuse's. He said I was not grounded in the trailer. He said there was a short somewhere within the coach. Stumped. Then the landlord owner came in and said its your GFI that is connected to the wall in the bathroom, as it has a reset button. We replaced that today and it is working.......but then, after all the stuff I have done to make sure this coach is ok, got the surprise of my life. Several days ago we pounded a metal stake in the front of the tongue of the coach, to ground the coach. That didn't work, placed wood under both tires, that seemed as I said earlier to help some what, but remember I also had a friend put in a copper pole attached with a copper line to the bumper of the trailer. Today, after replacing the GFI in the bathroom, and a outlet by the front door, I attempted to remove the stake by the tongue. OMG, I went to remove it and placed my hand on the tongue and got zapped like no tomorrow. After I got calmed down, I safely removed that stake and no more shock to the tongue or the frame. Then my friend went to remove the copper tube from the rear of the trailer. He too get a big fat zap too. But only when touching the copper tube and the bumper of the trailer. Once he was able to remove the copper tube safely, no more zap, able to touch the frame of the coach every where with no problems. We discovered the problem lays in the ground, where there was a fire in this space as I learned today back in August of this year, not a year ago. So the owner who has no experience with electrical problems doesn't realize that the problem lays underneath the ground. There is no other explanation for this. The tech that came out today said this was not a life threatening issue but said when it is wet outside to wear rubber gloves. Am now looking for a different place to live, this has been more of a pain in the azz then I have ever dealt with. Of all the RV parks I have lived in I have never had a issue like this. So now I believe we know there is a short underneath the earth that has affected the trailer.
