OP do some searching on 3/4 ton diesels and payload versus RAWR on them. At the risk of derailing this thread, the payload rating on your truck is pretty meaningless. Do some searching or start a new thread for more info. This is a topic that's been beaten to death here.
Thanks for the tip. I'm generally aware of this and putting the numbers together to see what is reasonable. Actually looking for smaller 5ers that are (in theory) "half ton towable" so if I find one of those I think I'll be fine. But want to get firm numbers either way.
