Hail dings in metal siding

Two of my TT's in Kansas had hail dings and it was purely cosmetic. Its too costly to repair, so use that money on something useful like a good weight distributing hitch with sway control our something...

Replace the siding.

Hope he got a good price. Hail damaged vehicles are often considered totaled by insurance companies.

I have hail damage on the hood and roof of my excursion , it still tows my trailer . You can only see them If I wash the truck , so I dont .

A friend's siding was dented in a hail storm in Kansas. He spent nearly a year in the desert near Palm Springs and most of the dents had disappeared. The combination of heat and cold must have helped the metal back into orginal shape.

On YouTube there are videos where dents in cars are removed using the heat from a heat gun and then cold air from a spray can of air used to blow dust out of electronics. The dents pop back out. Maybe it would work on siding for some of the more pronouced dents.

Hey, might get some satisfaction from one of those dent removal guys who just massage it with a plunger. No, really.

Agree. If it is just dents just think about the steeply discounted price paid. :)

Nothing, just live with it. I bought one about 2 years ago that was less than a month old and got it for 10,000 less than sticker price.

New siding..probably not worth fixing

Not much you can do except live with it or replace the damaged panels.
