Yeah, I would bet GM is using this truck to bring back a package similar to the old C6P package with a 8600-9000 GVWR and 6000 RAWR corporate 14 bolt rear axle with 8 lug wheels and 17" E tires 4L80E tranny.
Good grief with 420 hp and better yet is that 450 ft lbs torque the new 6.2 should see duty in the 2500/3500 trucks. Now GM finally has a gas engine replacement for the 8.1 with its big torque numbers and big towing performance numbers. Way to go GM.
