I would give up and buy a 1 ton.
You are talking about full timing. You have to bring everything with you. Not only that, but you will buy stuff along the way. I've never met a full timer that came back with less than they went with.
Not only that, but fulltiming in a 20-25 ft trailer will get old REAL fast. I would look in the 30ft range for fulltiming. Just think of the times when it rains for a week straight.
A couple points..
-think about when you (or your wife) are cooking in the trailer. Most smaller trailers don't have the room for people to pass each other.
-having a seperate bedroom is very valuable when wifey wants to go to bed, and you want to finish watching the game/movie/etc. Not to mention when someone gets sick (it will happen). Being able to "Quarantine" the sick person, has it's merits.
