Half Tons are NOT useless!!!

I had a c2500 with an 8600 gvwr, 8500 gvwr, a whopping 105 ponies. The gr8 at the time barely had 200 ponies, and all of 300 lbft of torque. My c2500 due to better gearing out pulled a bb 3500 with twice the gvwr!!!!
There is more to what a rig can or can not do the chassis size and capacity!
Somebody saying.g a 25 or 35 would fill up for words yet.....maybe.
Then again, I know a fellow with a dodge Dakota. Goes camping with buddies who have 1 tons and triple/quadruple slide 5w's. He gets to campsite in woods 15-30 min behind them, is a le to set his 5w up in 5 min. Others are still trying to level 5w's. He hits the lake and limits out before others get gear out to start.
Smaller is some times better!

No right or wrong answer to the what size is better, just like hammers, an 8 lb sledge will not work on a brad!
