Beautiful truck. What a lot of the half ton crowd does not understand is that anything that can be towed by a half ton can also be towed and better by a one ton or even a three quarter ton. Somebody might be able to 'get by' towing what they want with a half ton but who wants to just 'get by'? I am reminded that the cowboys of old said that you never can have too much horse.
But a class 3 truck is better than a class 2. A 4 is better than a 3. We can keep going to the point of absurdity. In theory you could pound that brad in with a pile driver... bigger is always better right? Saw this at a truck show a couple weeks ago. He makes almost all of us look underpowered.

By the way... got any pictures of a cowboy on a draft horse leading a cattle drive? That would require a LOT of food for the horse. Seems to me that I've heard of more cowboys using smaller horses who were able to get the job done effectively without being a burden and requiring excessive supplies.
You know... kinda like using a Mack Superliner to haul a pop up. That's a LOT of horse for the load.
You buy and use whatever you want. I will buy and use whatever I want. So long as my numbers make sense and I am comfortable towing, I am fine with my decision. I don't feel the need to put anyone else down for their decision, not sure why people like you feel the need.
