UH...would you be talking about one of these?

I did the 1/2 ton thing years ago, soft sidewalls supposedly the proper load leveling and sway control and still rolled over.

Plenty of truck after that near death experience for me from then on.

Beautiful truck. What a lot of the half ton crowd does not understand is that anything that can be towed by a half ton can also be towed and better by a one ton or even a three quarter ton. Somebody might be able to 'get by' towing what they want with a half ton but who wants to just 'get by'? I am reminded that the cowboys of old said that you never can have too much horse.
Thanks!
The biggest problem I see with 1/2 tons is they are told they will have NO PROBLEM towing a certain TT. Then they just invested a lot of money into the 1/2 ton because someone said it would be fine then the problems start. Truck and trailer sway then they need a better sway control then they need air bags. TT's are very dangerous to tow unless you have enough truck to do the job. I know I was a victim of being told what truck I had was fine with a Reese load leveling hitch and sway bar. Well the Portland "S" curves took us out.
So as I said "Plenty of truck after that near death experience for me from then on"
