Four Wheel Campers has been building a flat bed model for a couple years now.
Yes I know, the bulk of the manufacturers still build for a Pickup bed.
When I first started showing flatbed conversions in Australia. on this forum I was getting bizarre comments like, the Camper would “ fall off”:S
Majority of trucks in north America have boxes. The number of flat bed trucks that are used is so low that most manufacturers would never sell one if they had a model available. I was looking at going that way years ago for the extra storage and floor space.
