Well about time for US Truck Camper manufacturers. Flatbed conversions are the what we have been doing for the last 30yrs. Pickup Bed TC’s are very very rare Hallmark Flatbed TC’s

Majority of trucks in north America have boxes. The number of flat bed trucks that are used is so low that most manufacturers would never sell one if they had a model available. I was looking at going that way years ago for the extra storage and floor space
They remove the Pickup bed here forany US Pickup. You can get the Japanese, Ford and GM as Cab Chassis for Global Pickups
I think the reason is they are not specifically work vehicles( up fitting a work station on a Pickup), but are dual use a “car” and a Pickup
Like the Ecletic lot below. Middle Truck Camper is an Oscape made by a former German immigrant. Notice the Mazda Pickup Trucks a clone of the Ranger with a heavier payload. Also two are 6 Wheel conversions giving them a much greater GVM. First vehicle carries a Northstar Popup Camper. I have seen the Ozscape builder at regional shows but Northstar especially and Lance have disappeared
